Fluid Acrylic Paint Textures — Viscosity, Captured in Color
A collection of 15 stunning fluid acrylic paint textures. These paintings were made with carefully mixed recipes of acrylics and ink. As the viscosity shifts, the fluid acrylics attract and repel each other, creating a flowing journey of evolving patterns. The resulting micro images feel connected to forms found throughout the natural world—sometimes microscopic, sometimes celestial.
Use Photoshop or Affinity to customize color and mood with adjustment layers such as hue/saturation, color balance, or invert. Because these resources are high resolution, they work well for print, web, and screen or presentation graphics. Use each piece in full, or crop tightly to focus on the macro details.
Created in partnership with UK/France/Caribbean-based artist Nancy Wood, this pack draws from her deep practice manipulating poured paint and ink. Her work has been featured in the Grand Designs television series, Elle Decoration magazine, and more. Also included: a set of .abr brushes made from the textures, so you can build your own custom textures in Photoshop or Affinity.
